Today I'm back to share a closer look at the Touch of Ink stamp set. This stamp set is a Sale-A-Bration reward. When you purchase at the $100 level, this stamp set is one of the items you can choose as your FREE gift from the Sale-A-Bration Flyer. Today I'm showing you the incredible value of this stamp set and some fun ways you can use it to make cards. You can watch the video HERE, or keep reading for a closer look at the card projects I made during the video...
I wanted to give you a closer look at this stamp set because it's one of those sets that has everything you need to make beautiful cards----from simple stamping to more sophisticated techniques, this set hits all the high notes! A couple of other great features--- it's photopolymer for easy, see-through stamping AND it includes some nicely sized sentiments to go with the focal images. If you love 2-part stamping where you get the outline image AND the fill-in image, you're going to LOVE this stamp set.
So in the video I talk about using the stamp set in the basic ways of stamping the outline images in black and then using the colored inks to stamp the fill-in images (hummingbird card). I also talk about using colored inks to stamp the outlines and then a lighter version of the same ink color by stamping off once on scrap paper before stamping on your project. You can even stamp black on colored cardstock or colored ink on colored cardstock and then paper-piece the images together to create a little scene (butterfly card). I also talk about using Stampin' Blends markers to color in the images after stamping them with Memento Black ink. And then finally I show an example of using Stazon Ink (water-proof ink) to stamp the image and use the water brushes and some ink to color in the images on watercolor paper. All of these techniques are lovely and give the images a totally different appearance.
So if you DON'T like coloring, the 2-part qualities of these stamps are perfect for you. If you DO like coloring, then there are many techniques you can try with this stamp set. The variety of images is fun to combine and there are even some smaller images and words to create subtle backgrounds. This set is one worth striving to get for FREE at that $100 sales level. You'll be happy to have this one in your stash and will likely use it for years to come on a variety of different card and paper-crafting projects.
You can place your order HERE, but hurry, sale runs through February 28, 2021.
