This little beauty was fun to put together--I especially loved the color palette. You can see how this card was made by watching the video right HERE.
I cut the card bases out of Pool Party card stock and then used the Layering Square framelit dies to cut the scalloped square out of Calypso Coral and the straight edge layering square out of whisper white. I stamped the flowers and sentiment from the Inspiring Iris stamp set. This is a two-part image, where you stamp the outline in black first, then use the subsequent images to fill in the outlined areas of the flowers in the colors of your choice. In my case the flower is in Calypso Coral ink and the stems and leaves in Pear Pizazz.
Probably my favorite part of the card design is in the way I used the burlap ribbon and white twine to add interest to the card. I wrapped the burlap ribbon around the Calypso Coral layer and then tied it with the white twine, trimming off the excess so the panel still fit on the card front in the center.
Thank you for taking a look at today's creation.
