Hello my friends... Another CAS Sunday card, this one featuring the Artistic Impressions stamp set and a sentiment from Perennial Birthday. I used a pretty border die from the Arts & Crafts die set. You can see how this one came together by watching the video HERE.
This was a quick and easy card design and the Daffodil Delight base card makes it so cheery! I loved putting this one together...
The Artistic Impressions stamp set has several images that have a base layer and an accent layer that you can put together. I stamped the stems/leaves in Granny Apple Green ink but on the base layer I stamped off the image once on scrap paper before stamping it on my project panel. I then stamped the accent image full strength to give the leaves (and flowers) a two-tone look. I did the same for the flower layer.
I added the sentiment using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. To embellish I took the lacy, stitched scallop die from the Arts & Crafts die set and glued it to the front of the stamped panel with a little Tombow multi-purpose glue. I then finished it off with a bow tied from the white baker's twine.
This is such a sweet and simple card. I hope you enjoyed my card for today. Until next week...
