I'm back this week with a clean and simple card using a brand new bundle from Stampin' Up! ---- Sweet as a Peach, and boy is it!! You can watch the card assembly video HERE.
For this card, I kept it super simple. I used a thick basic white base card measuring 11 x 4.25". I scored it at 5.5" to create a top-folding base card. I added a layer panel of designer series paper measuring 5.25 x 4" and then a focal panel cut from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I stamped the peach image onto basic white card stock using the Pale Papaya and took a sponge dauber and some Pumpkin Pie ink to darken one edge of the peach to give it a more realistic look and more dimension. The leaves were stamped in Granny Apple Green. What a fresh, happy color palette mixed with that pretty Balmy Blue striped base. I die cut the peach and leaves and added them to the base card with dimensional adhesive. The sentiment is also from the Sweet as a Peach stamp set and I stamped that onto a thin strip of basic white, added it to the card with dimensional adhesive and finished it off with a clear gem from the Elegant Gems pack.
A sweet, happy card design--the first of many I'm sure I'll be making with this delightful new bundle from Stampin' Up!
