Clean + Simple Card: Splendid Day Suite - Watercolor with Wink of Stella

Today I'm sharing an oldie but a goodie, as they say... I've paired the Splendid Thoughts bundle with some Pool Party ink and my Wink of Stella glitter brush pen and got great results!! This easy watercolor technique is perfect for beginner and seasoned stampers alike and the glimmer this adds to your coloring is amazing!! You can check out the video HERE, or see below for photos of the projects I shared...

As I previously shared in THIS post, I'm offering a FREE, 27 project PDF tutorial to anyone who purchases the Splendid Thoughts stamp set or bundle from me between now and 12/31/22. I will see your order come through and if these products are on your order, I'll email the PDF right over to you. It's loaded with card and project ideas for using these products!! You'll also earn a FREE Sale-a-Bration reward if you purchase the bundle before September 1, 2022. This card I'm sharing today is from the tutorial. I changed up the color scheme and embossing folder, however I share the original project below. Both are so pretty!

This card that I created from the Tutorial bundle was an original by Angela Meiritz-Reid, a Stampin' Up! demonstrator from New Zealand. Her version is on the left, mine is on the right. I used the Wink of Stella glitter brush pen in clear to pick up ink from my Pool Party ink pad lid to color in the eucalyptus leaves on the die cuts. It came out so pretty and shimmery... I LOVE the results!! I think both cards are really beautiful, but the Wink of Stella adds a special element and the simmer is perfect with my color scheme.

July is World Watercoloring month and this technique is a fun way to add that watercolor look to your projects. I hope you enjoyed the card for today! All of the details on what I used to create my version are in the description of the video.

If you need any stamping supplies, please visit my SHOP. The Host Code through July 30, 2022 is H6MVZ4R3. You can find details on the Queen City Stamp Art REWARD PROGRAM HERE. Thanks so much for taking a look at the card today!!
