Clean + Simple Card: Splendid Day Product Showcase

Today I'm sharing some brand new products that are coming in the July-Dec 2022 Mini Catalog from Stampin' Up! It's always fun to get a sneak peek of something new to come...

For a closer look, please check out the VIDEO, and I'll share a bit more here too, including a closer look at the clean + simple card I made for today, down below.

PRODUCT SHOWCASE | The products in the Splendid Day collection are so beautiful in such a simple way. The stamp images focus on two different types of eucalyptus and they offer a very natural, clean design. The color palette of the gorgeous DSP include printed foils in sahara sand, petal pink and fresh freesia! The papers are so beautiful it's hard to choose which side to use!! I love the embellishments in this suite, too--the soft seafoam seam biding ribbon is so nice to work with, especially on cards because it's so soft and thin. The leafy trinkets are a gorgeous rose gold color and they look so pretty tied onto a tag or gift bag, but tucked into a card design, as well. This is the first time Stampin' Up! has offered a non-holiday suite in the July-December Mini catalog and it's proving itself to be a delightful addition. These products will be available to you as a Stampin' Up! customer starting on July 1, 2022.

For the card today, I started with a basic white base card. I cut a panel of Petal Pink and a panel of vellum, both measuring 3x4". I used Calypso Coral ink to randomly stamp all over the Petal Pink panel with one of the eucalyptus images. I then layered the vellum over this panel to soften the design. I die cut a few sprigs from basic white card stock, using a couple of the smaller sprig dies, and I die cut the half-circle panel from Soft Seafoam card stock. I stamped the sentiment using Basic Gray ink and popped up the Soft Seafoam panel using dimensional adhesive. I then tucked those Basic White sprigs into the top of the panel with some liquid glue, and added a leafy trinket with a glue dot for some sparkle. The finishing touch was to add a few Champagne Rhinestones. They look so pretty on this card===coordinating with that petal pink and rose gold.

I hope you enjoyed the card for today! In the video I share a few additional card ideas that I made during a Demonstrator Only event held by Stampin' Up! last night, called CREATIVITY NOW. It was 4 hours of crafty goodness and product demonstrations and the most fun was the craft along portion where we got to make the samples I share in the video and right here above this paragraph.
