This week I'm sharing a card I made using the Friendly Hello stamp set from the Stampin' Up! Sale-a-Bration flyer. You can earn this stamp set for FREE along with a pack of 12x12 Designer Series Paper (DSP) that coordinates beautifully, with a $100 order from Stampin' Up! through 2/28/22. There's still time to get in on this sale (if you're reading this before 2/28/22). To see how I created this card, head on over to my YouTube channel HERE.
This stamp set lends itself to all kinds of interest and layers and coloring and combinations, but for my clean and simple version, I really limited my design to one floral image and that gorgeous, large sentiment. Sometimes it can be hard to find the simple among the options, but I love how this card came out.
I started with a base card of Basic White Thick and added a panel of Petal Pink. The Calypso Coral ink pad I used is a dark version of Petal Pink, in my opinion, and they look really nice together. I stamped the sentiment tone-on-tone using Pool Party ink and card stock. To embellish, I used a loop of Pool Party sheer ribbon and a few of the Polished Dots. On one of the samples I used the Petal Pink version of the dots and on the other I used the clear version---can you tell?
I hope you enjoyed the card for this week! Check out Pinterest for tons of inspiration for using this amazing free product bundle of stamp set and DSP--just search Friendly Hello Stampin Up!.
