Hello my fellow stampers! Today I'm sharing a sweet and super simple Christmas card over on the CAS on Friday blog! To watch the video and see how I put this card together click HERE. If you'd like a closer look at the cards and products used, just keep reading.
So this card features some fun products from both the Annual Stampin' Up! catalog, as well as some products from the Aug-December Mini catalog. Both of these catalogs are free to download on the SHOP tab of this website. There are links, click the links, then you can save copies of the catalogs onto your computer to have as a reference.
I'm using the Perfectly Plaid stamp set for my sentiments, both inside and out. This set coordinates with the Pine Tree punch that I'm using to punch out that cute pine tree.
The plaid paper I used is the Plaid Tidings 6x6 DSP from the Aug-Dec Mini catalog, which is an exceptional value considering how much you get in each package and the variety of colors! The background embossing folder I used is the Winter Snow embossing folder. That Winter Snow embossing folder is one of my favorites! It creates such a delicate, subtle pattern. Not only is it great for Christmas cards, but any winter-themed card. To create the layer panel of squares I used the Layering Squares dies. Finally, to embellish, I used some of those adhesive-backed snowflakes. They add just the right amount of sparkle and shine to the card design.
If you'd like MORE clean + simple Christmas card inspiration, pop on over to the CAS on Friday blog to see what some of the other participants have put together! I'm sure you'll be inspired by their wonderful cards.
