Clean + Simple Card: Clever Cats

When I saw this stamp set in the July-Dec Mini Catalog from Stampin' Up! I knew I had to have it. I'm not even a super fan of cats-- I like them, but I really prefer dogs. Something about the cute and crazy kitties in this set made me smile. Today I'm sharing a very clean and simple, plus quick and easy card you can make using minimal supplies and this adorable stamp set. You can watch the video HERE or keep reading for a closer look at this card...

So this card really does use minimal supplies. I wanted to show the Cute 6x6 Halloween designer series paper, as well as the Cute Star Sequin embellishments as well as show you the cute images in this stamp set. In addition to those supplies, I used a couple of layered circles from the Layering Circles die set and ink pads in Basic Gray and Pumpkin Pie.

The stamp set is photopolymer so it is very easy to line up the images and stamp the color into the pumpkin, as well as stamping the kitty peeking out from the top. Lining up the sentiment onto the strip was also a breeze.

The star sequins are a fun addition to this card, giving it even more of a "magical" feel. I like these sequins for birthday and celebration cards too---a nice addition to my embellishment stash.

I don't normally make Halloween cards, but there are a few kiddos in my life who I will absolutely send these to later this month. Halloween is such a fun time when you're a kid and I'm excited to share an extra surprise with them in the form of happy mail.
